Meeting App

Our new, branded APA Philosophy Meetings app is now available in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Search for “APA Philosophy Meetings” and download the app to your mobile device. The APA Philosophy Meetings app is available to everyone, but you will only be able to access the guides for the meetings you register for. (Please note: the app is compatible with iOS and Android devices only.)

Within two business days of registering for the 2018 Pacific Division meeting, you will receive an email invitation with instructions on how to access the meeting guide. Please note: There is no passphrase for the 2018 Pacific Division meeting guide. Although you will see the option to enter a passphrase, we are not using that feature. Instead, you should follow the instructions included in the email invitation you received. If you cannot locate the email, contact us and we will resend it.

  • If you already have a Guidebook account, your invitation will instruct you to sign into the APA Philosophy Meetings app using your existing login details. When you open the app, you will be prompted to enter the email address you were invited with and your Guidebook password. If you forget your password, you can reset it using this link. Please note: you must sign into the app using your Guidebook account—NOT your APA member account.

  • If you do not have an existing Guidebook account, your invitation will include a temporary password. When you open the app, you will be prompted to enter the email address you were invited with and your temporary password. You may change your password in the app settings at any time.

Once you've successfully entered your email address and password, the 2018 Pacific Division Meeting Guide will open on your device. Session locations will be added to the app on the first day of the meeting.

If you have trouble downloading the guide, please review the following list:

  • Check your app store to make sure you have the latest version of the APA Philosophy Meetings app.
  • Make sure you are using the new APA Philosophy Meetings app (orange APA logo) and not the Guidebook app (blue "G" logo).
  • Make sure you are using the email address you entered when you registered for the Pacific Division meeting. This is the email address where you received your invitation to download the app.

If you have questions about the meeting app, contact us.
