Shopping List

The APA Shopping List is a listing of discounted philosophical books and journals available from a wide variety of publishers that are of interest to philosophers. The Shopping List is published in the November and May issues of the Proceedings and Addresses of The American Philosophical Association. The Proceedings and Addresses is mailed to the APA’s nearly 11,000 members.

To Have Your Ad Included:

• Send your copy on the forms below (you may duplicate them as needed). Although the vast majority of ads have traditionally been for books and journals, feel free to advertise other products such as computer software. To advertise such products, use the Book Entry form, but disregard requests for irrelevant information like the ISBN number.
• To advertise in the Shopping List the price must include at least a 10% discount off the regular price for APA members only. This price must remain in effect for a six-month period after your ad appears in the Shopping List. (November Issue, December 1 - May 31; May Issue, June 1 - December 31)
• You will be billed for your ads before the issue in which they appear is printed.

• The price for each item advertised is $60.
• An optional description of fifty (50) words or less may be included for an additional $30 per item.

• Copy deadline falling on a weekend or holiday are extended to the next business day.
