- PHILOSOPHIA
35:3-4, to appear in Fall '07, is a special double issue containing
papers from the 2007 Pacific Division "Models of God" mini-conference.
This publication contains the conference keynotes by John Bishop and
Wesley WIldman, and papers or commentaries by Ted Peters, James Edward
Taylor, Klaas J. Kraay, Alan Rhoda, David M. Woodruff, Richard Rice,
Monica A. Coleman, Donald Wayne Viney, Delwin Brown, Robert S. Gall,
Pamela Sue Anderson, Charles Taliaferro, Donald L. Turner and Ford
Turrell, Daniel Murphy, Jeanine Diller, Andrew Jerome Dell’Olio,
Jeremy Richard Hustwit, and Samuel Ruhmkorff. Jeanine Diller, who
chaired the mini-conference's organizing committee, also wrote the
Introduction to this special double-issue.

The chair and members of the "Ad Hoc Committee on By-Law
Amendments for Nomination and Election Procedures" are Paul Menzel
(Chair), Patricia Hanna, Bernard Linsky, Robert Pasnau, Ronald Sundstrom,
and Alison Wylie. The Committee will propose one or more alternative
for amendment of the Pacific Division by-laws. The text of the Committee's
recommendation(s) will be published in the January '07 Proceedings,
which is the Program Issue for the '07 Pacific Division Meeting.
- A special
issue of Philosophical Studies (Volume 127, Number 1, January
2006), containing a sample of outstanding papers presented at the
2005 APA Pacific Division meeting, is now available. Dominic
McIver Lopes, program chair for the 2005 meeting, edited this issue.
- The
Pacific Division Executive Committee is pleased to announce the publication
of a volume of papers from the first APA Pacific Division Mini-Conference,
held at the annual meeting in Pasadena in March 2004. The volume,
edited by Gillian Brock and Darrel Moellendorf, is Current Debates
in Global Justice (Dordrecht and Norwell, MA: Springer, 2005).
