The Pacific Division is governed in accordance with the APA bylaws as well as its own divisional bylaws, which apportion responsibilities to an executive committee, a nominating committee, and a program committee. These are responsible to the business meeting (normally held at noon on the Thursday of every annual meeting). The Pacific Division's day-to-day operations are carried out by its Secretary-Treasurer. Members of the Pacific Division vote at the division's business meeting and elect its executive committee.

Volunteers for service on the program committee, the nominating committee, and the executive committee are welcome. Those with views about policy or the operations of the division are invited to attend and speak at the business meeting or write to the Secretary-Treasurer.
