Today begins the 30-day voting period to elect a new member
at-large of the APA board of officers and approve housekeeping amendments to
the association bylaws.
the APA Board of Officers
Following an open nomination process this past summer and
deliberations by the nominating committee, three candidates now stand for
election for the position of member-at-large of the APA’s board of officers. The
person elected will serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2015.
To help inform voters, the candidates have submitted brief
statements highlighting their qualifications, experience, and priorities. Members are encouraged to read these
statements prior to voting.
Housekeeping Bylaws Amendments
At its meeting in November 2014, the APA board members
proposed three housekeeping amendments to the association bylaws. To be
adopted, an amendment must be approved by a majority of those voting in each of
the divisions. Members are
encouraged to review the proposed bylaws amendments prior to voting.
Only full (regular and emeritus) members of the association
affiliated with one of the three divisions are eligible to vote. You must
be signed in to the APA website to access the ballot links below.
Once submitted, your votes are final. You will not be able
to return to your ballot and change your votes, so please consider your choices
carefully before submitting.
To vote, select the ballot associated with your division from the list below. You will only be able to access the page containing the ballot associated with your division.
Voting will remain open for 30 days, closing on Thursday, March 5.
