The 2016 Pacific Division meeting will be held March 30–April 3 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco, California.
Online registration is now open! You will be able to register online up to and including the time of the meeting itself, but please note that advance registration rates end on March 16 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Advance registration rates are $50 less for all categories than rates for registration after March 16 (either online or at the registration desk). To register at the member rates, you must be signed in.
Please note: You’ll save an additional $5 on meeting registration if you don’t need a paper copy of the program. Our free meeting app for smartphones and tablets contains the full program.
The meeting program is available on the APA website. Meeting registrants will also have access to the full program, including room locations, in our meeting app. A PDF version of the program will be available online shortly.
Please note: You’ll save an additional $5 on meeting registration if you don’t need a paper copy of the program. Those who go paperless will have the option to purchase a program for $5 at the registration desk.
Hotel reservations at the conference rates can be made through links on the APA website. The room rate starts at $189 per night (plus applicable taxes and fees) and includes complimentary in-room internet access. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability. Reservations must be made by February 26 to be assured of the APA rate.
While we understand that you have a choice of hotels, we do urge you to book at the conference hotel. Filling up our rooms gets us meeting space and the hotel rebates us 6% of bookings revenue. We use this to fund graduate student travel. Support the meeting and support students by staying in the conference hotel.
We’re pleased to offer two new sources of travel assistance this year. The Diversity Institute Alumni Fund subsidizes conference travel for those who have participated in undergraduate diversity institutes, and the Travel Assistance Fund for Philosophers of Color subsidizes conference travel for philosophers of color who are unable to obtain travel support from their home institutions. More information about eligibility and instructions on how to apply for funding is available on the APA website.
The program and executive committees extend a cordial invitation to all APA members to come and take part in the 2016 Pacific Division meeting.
