Voting recently concluded on the election of a new at-large member of the APA board of officers and the adoption of three proposed amendments to the APA bylaws.
The APA is pleased to announce that Marina Oshana of the University of California, Davis, has been elected the newest APA board of officers member-at-large. Professor Oshana will begin serving a three-year term on July 1, 2016.
In addition, all three proposed amendments to the APA bylaws were approved by the APA membership. The bylaws on the APA website have been updated to reflect the adoption of these amendments.
The APA wishes to express its gratitude to the other candidates for at-large board member, Michael Rosenthal (University of Washington) and Anne Waters (American Indian Philosophy Association), for their willingness to stand for election for this important position, and also to thank all the APA members who took the time to vote.
