Results of the Eastern and Pacific Division Elections

We are pleased to announce the results of the recent Eastern and Pacific Divisional elections. Congratulations to those who were elected and many thanks to all the candidates.
At its meeting in April, the Pacific Division elected Kwong-Loi Shun (University of California Berkeley) its next vice president. He will take office on July 1, 2016, and on July 1, 2017, he will become president of the division.
The Pacific Division also elected Alyssa Ney (University of California Davis) its newest executive committee member-at-large. She will begin a three-year term on July 1.
In an electronic vote completed earlier this month, the Eastern Division elected Nancy Fraser (The New School) its next vice president. She will take office on July 1, 2016, and on July 1, 2017, she will become president of the division.
The Eastern Division also elected Jennifer Whiting (University of Pittsburgh) its divisional representative to the board of officers. She will begin a three-year term on July 1.
And the Eastern Division elected two members-at-large to its executive committee: Bryce Huebner (Georgetown University) and Laurie Shrage (Florida International University). They will begin three-year terms on July 1.
