The following resources are available to assist meeting attendees requiring accessible transportation. Please note that Philadelphia has a limited number of wheelchair accessible taxis in operation, so reservations should be made well in advance, as there may be a significant wait.
- SEPTA offers a paratransit service available to city residents and visitors to the Philadelphia area.
- To use the service, you must submit an application in advance. Please reach out to SEPTA to see if they meet your needs and allow 2-3 weeks for your application to be approved by SEPTA.

SEPTA Bus and Regional Rail
SEPTA fixed-route bus service operates with ADA accessible vehicles. Every SEPTA bus is equipped with a wheelchair lift or
ramp. A SEPTA bus can be lowered, commonly referred to as kneeling, by
the bus operator upon request to make the step up from street level
easier. Buses feature automated route and stop announcements heard
both inside and outside the bus. Route information is displayed
electronically on the front and side of every bus.
- SEPTA's airport rail line has accessible commuter trains from the airport and suburbs into downtown. Most of the stations in the city center are accessible. All city buses are equipped to transport wheelchairs.
- Freedom Taxi's commitment to accessibility allows people with disabilities greater mobility, resulting in fuller community participation and access to job opportunities, schools, and social offerings.
