Description:

The International Association for the Philosophy of Sport invites the
submission of papers to be considered for presentation at the 2009 APA
Pacific Division Meeting. Papers are welcome on any area of philosophy of
sport, including metaphysics, epistemology, aesthetics and ethics, and
from any theoretical approach, including analytic philosophy and critical
theory. Presenters must be members of both APA and IAPS and pay regular
conference registration fees.

Papers should be no more than 15 pages in length, 30 minutes reading time,
accompanied by abstracts 300-500 words long. Abstracts must be received
by October 7th, 2008. The preferred mode of submission is by e-mail to
finns@seattleu.edu. Only those contributors who do not have access to
e-mail should send a hard copy to
