2017 Nominating Committee Report

We are pleased to announce that the Central Division nominating committee has nominated the following individuals for the 2017–2018 divisional elections:

Vice President 2018–2019

The 2018–2019 vice president will serve as president for 2019–2020.

  • Julia Driver (Washington University in St. Louis)
  • Russell Shafer-Landau (University of Wisconsin Madison)
  • Michael Rea (University of Notre Dame)

Divisional Representative 2018–2021

The divisional representative serves a three-year term on the executive committee and serves as a member of the APA board of officers.

  • Gwen Bradford (Rice University)
  • Lisa Schwartzman (Michigan State University)
  • Mark van Roojen (University of Nebraska Lincoln)

Executive Committee Member at Large 2018–2021

The member at large of the divisional executive committee serves a three-year term.

  • Andrew Mills (Otterbein University)
  • Matthew McGrath (University of Missouri)
  • Shannon Spaulding (Oklahoma State)

Nominating Committee (Four Seats)

The members of the nominating committee serve one-year terms. Four candidates will be elected. The nominating committee is chaired by the immediate past president of the division. 

  • Juan Colomina-Almiñana (University of Texas Austin)
  • Sinan Dogramaci (University of Texas Austin)
  • Kenny Easwaran (Texas A&M University)
  • Peter Hanks (University of Minnesota)
  • Tristram McPherson (Ohio State University)
  • Helga Varden (University of Illinois)
  • Eric Wiland (University of Missouri St. Louis)

  • Dale Dorsey (University of Kansas)

The above nominees will be presented for consideration at the divisional business meeting at the Central Division meeting in Chicago, IL, on February 23, 2018. Elections will be held in spring 2018.
