The annual APA Workshop for Department Chairs, part of the APA's Departmental Services Program, will be held via Zoom on Monday, August 10 and Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The workshop program is now available! The workshop will include panel discussions as well as Q&A with attendees, and there will also be time for open discussion and networking.

There will also be concurrent sessions on the following topics:

Registration is FREE for chairs of departments enrolled in the Departmental Services Program (DSP). Chairs of departments not yet enrolled in the DSP may register for $175. The registration fee paid will be deducted from the DSP annual fee for departments whose chairs register for this workshop and enroll in the DSP by December 31, 2026.

Important note for chairs of departments enrolled in the DSP: To register for the workshop for free, please sign into the APA website using the department administrator login.
