skye-clearyThe American Philosophical Association is pleased to announce that Skye Cleary will be the next lead editor of the APA Blog. Cleary will serve a three-year term beginning July 1, 2018.

Skye Cleary is associate director of the Center for New Narratives in Philosophy at Columbia University, and she teaches at Columbia University, Barnard College, and the City College of New York. She is the author of Existentialism and Romantic Love and her work has been published in Aeon, the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Paris Review, and others. She has served on the editorial team of the APA Blog since its inception.

Cleary has expressed her enthusiasm about her new position, saying,

I have thoroughly enjoyed working on the blog for the past two and a half years, first as associate editor and then as managing editor. I am excited about being able to continue the blog’s success and finding new ways of engaging APA members and blog readers, promoting the APA and our members, strengthening philosophical outreach, and generally supporting the continued achievement of the APA.

Please join us in congratulating Skye on her new role!
