Central Division elections: Voting now open!

Beginning this year, the Central Division elections will be conducted by secure electronic ballot, as our divisional bylaws now permit. The switch to electronic voting will save the division approximately $2,500 per year in printing and mailing costs and will greatly reduce the labor required for counting ballots. We also hope that the convenience of electronic voting will increase member participation in elections.

Information about the candidates is available on the election information page. The information provided is similar to that given on paper ballots for past elections. The online ballot will be accessible from May 1through June 12.

Vote in the 2014 Central Division elections now.

In order to vote in the election, you will need to sign in to the APA website. If you do not know or have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot your password?” link, located in the sign-in area on the right-hand side of the homepage. After completing the instructions, you will receive an email with information on how to reset your password.

If you need assistance with this process, you may contact Janet Sample, membership coordinator, at or (302) 831-4657. Please do not hesitate to contact either me or the APA national office staff for assistance with this year's Central Division elections.

Thank you for voting!

With best wishes,

Robin Smith
Secretary-Treasurer, APA Central Division

I just voted. It would be nice if after one clicked "submit" on the ballot, some screen came up verifying that one's ballot had been submitted. I didn't get such a thing—just a blank page came up.
