Registration Fee Waivers

Developing Countries

Registration fees are waived for scholars who reside in any of  UNESCO's list of Least Developed Countries. Scholars who qualify for this exception must email a request for a fee waiver to Elyse Purcell, secretary-treasurer of the Central Division, at elysepurcell@apaonline.org. All requests must be submitted by February 12.

K-12 and Undergraduate Students

All undergraduate and K–12 students may register for the meeting at the student rate of $35, regardless of APA membership. We offer high school or undergraduate student group pricing as well. 

  • K-12 and/or undergraduate students who would like to register for the conference, fill out the Registration Fee Waiver form to prior to February 12.
  • If you would like to inquire about group pricing for undergraduates or K-12 students, fill out the Registration Group Discount form prior to February 12.

Unemployed and Underemployed

Unemployed and underemployed philosophers, including retired philosophers on fixed incomes, may be eligible for a partial registration fee waiver. You must be a current APA member to apply for the waiver. For more information, please fill out the Unemployed and Underemployed contact form prior to February 12.
