Diversity Institute Alumni Luncheon at the APA Pacific Division Meeting
Thursday, April 9, 2020
1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
The Westin St. Francis on Union Square, San Francisco, CA

The Diversity Institute Alumni Luncheon provides a meal and the opportunity to network with other diversity institute alumni. The luncheon includes a panel that will feature diversity institute alumni who are currently employed in a variety of positions in philosophy and academia. This year's panel includes:

  • Nabina Liebow, American University, Director of CAS Leadership and Ethical Development Program and Professorial Lecturer in Philosophy & Religion (panelist)
  • Cori Wong, Colorado State University, Assistant Vice President for Gender Equity in the Office of the Vice President for Diversity (panelist)
  • Vikram Bhargava, Santa Clara University, Assistant Professor of Management (panelist)
  • Desiree Valentine, Marquette University, Assistant Professor of Philosophy (panelist)
  • Kate Davies, University of Texas Dallas, Assistant Professor of Philosophy (moderator)

Seats are available on a first come, first served basis to alumni of undergraduate diversity institutes who are registered for the APA Pacific Division Meeting. Pre-registration is now full, but you may apply for the waitlist using the form below. A travel reimbursement of up to $500 per person will be provided to selected attendees who pre-register on the basis of need and availability. All luncheon attendees should still register for the Pacific Division meeting.

Reimbursements of up to $500 will be available to participants for travel costs based on need and availability. Please provide a brief statement of financial need in the space below if you would like to request travel support.
